I bought my first pot of Shattered at a Sephora in San Francisco on a whim when I was on vacation in 2004 and I have been in love with the shade ever since. I consider Urban Decay eyeshadows the best that the cosmetics industry has to offer, and I use them exclusively (don't even ask how many shades/pots/palettes I have). I would describe Shattered as a teal with a green/blue shift - very pretty but not what I would call a conventional shade. Like all UD shadows, it blends very easily and is highly pigmented, so you get a rich color payoff but you can make it sheer by blending it out if you want to. I don't think I need to point out how great a value it is at $4 - it's really a steal. I would recommend this shade to anyone with hazel or green eyes who's not afraid of bright or unconventional shades!
