Special ordering procedures for Schedule III-V drugs

Federal and state laws regulate the distribution of all prescription medicines. The regulations are more stringent for Schedule III-V drugs.

What does this mean for you?

You can only transfer a prescription for a Schedule III-V drug one time. If you transfer a prescription to or from Familymeds.com, you cannot transfer it again.
We must receive the prescription within 30 days from the date on which it was written.
If your pharmacy is in New York state, you cannot transfer a prescription for a Schedule III-V drug at all.
We cannot accept a faxed prescription for a Schedule III-V drug. You can mail in your prescription or ask your doctor to call your prescription in to our pharmacy at 1(888)787-2800 Ext 1.
